For five years of my life I dated someone because I felt that I had to settle, that I could rise to the level of what my dreams were. I had the love of my life directly in front of me, but I paid them no attention, whatsoever.
Then one night a strong wind blew that rattled the trees as well as my soul. From that moment on, my life has never been the same. I know that beyond the shadow of a doubt that this is my soul mate.
When I look into his eyes, I can see directly into his soul. He's my brother and my best friend. I spend many of life's moments thanking God for opening up not only the door to my heart, but also the window to my mind.
I read somewhere that if you've never experienced failure, then you're not risking enough. True success comes from when you push your dreams from the arms of the safe to the feet of the dangerous.
I'd risk everything and anything that I possess for one night in his arms. If only this was a perfect world where dreams became reality.
